Stuff to Help

Need help with resources?

We've got everything you need to make your challenge worthwhile, right here!

Our Top Fundraising Tips

Tip #1: Tell your connections how to sponsor you.

Before posting on social media, build some momentum for your goal by reaching out to your loved ones with a personal call, email or text message – the personal touch goes a long way. After this keep sharing your fundraising journey directly from your Poverty Cycle fundraising page to Facebook or Instagram. If you aren’t sure what to post, then use one of our handy images further down below!

Tip #2: Keep your connections up to date.

Your friends and family believe in you and will be keen to hear all about your challenge. So, keep them updated about how you are going, how you are finding your challenge – is it easy, is it difficult, fun facts about your #moveforfreedom journey - either way, they will love to be part of your experience! You can do that by keeping a blog on your Poverty Cycle fundraising page and sharing that with them.

Tip #3: Tell your connections why you care.

You care a lot, that’s why you are taking on the Poverty Cycle challenge, but others may not know too much about human trafficking happening in the world. So, sharing with your loved one's real stories of real people who have been released from modern slavery, like the story about Panit and Fah, will help them understand your heart better.

Trafficking Route Maps

Matching your activity with a trafficking route is a great way to make the cause more real in your mind. Pick a route, and make that distance your target for your Poverty Cycle Challenge. Print out the route, and chart your own progress against it as you add up your kms running, walking or riding.
